The terms we keep using.

Abbreviations that show up on every report — defined here so you don't have to guess.

CAGRCompound Annual Growth Rate
The steady per-year rate that would get you from a start value to an end value. 5-year CAGR on a postcode page means "if this postcode appreciated evenly every year over the last 5 years, what would the annual rate be?". More robust than year-on-year price because it smooths single-year spikes.

LSOALower layer Super Output AreaONS
A small geographic unit used for UK census / IMD / health stats. Each LSOA contains 1,000–3,000 people. A postcode typically sits inside one LSOA; bigger postcodes span 2–3.

OKLCH
A modern CSS color model (Lightness · Chroma · Hue) that's perceptually uniform — equal-lightness colors actually look equal-bright to your eye. All colors on this site are defined in OKLCH so light / dark mode rebalances cleanly.
PTALPublic Transport Accessibility LevelTfL
